Mary Jean “M.J.” Dvorak, 82 of Riverside, died on March 4, 2020. 

Ms. Dvorak was an interior designer, owner of M.J. Dvorak Design Interiors Ltd. and past president of American Society of Interior Designers Chicago Chapter. 

She was a board member of Northwest Military Academy, an active member of American Classic Boat Society Blackhawk Chapter, an active member of Riverside Public Library Genealogy Collection CSAGSI/Paul M. Nemecek Library and Czech Slovak American Genealogical Society of Illinois. 

Ms. Dvorak was the daughter of the late Irving C. Dvorak and Jean T. (nee Walsh); the wife of the late Roman; the mother of Chris (Colleen), Patrick, Kevin, Kathryn and Bryan Kamin; the grandmother of Valerie, Jaime and Gregory Girote, Amy, Matthew, Catie and Emma Kamin; the great-grandmother of Lillian; the sister of Donald Dvorak and Denise (Robert) Campbell; the sister-in-law of Theresa (late James) Ryan and the late Diane (late Harold) Martinek; and the aunt of Robin, Chris (Julie), Jeanne (Tim), 

Visitation is on Wednesday, March 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, March 12 at 8:30 a.m. until time of services at 9:30 a.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St. in Riverside.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated March 12 at 10 a.m. at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside.
