Occupation: former owner of Salt Creek Wine Bar

Why do you want to be a library board member?

As a former business owner and longtime resident of Brookfield, I deeply appreciate the impact of the library on our community.  Our library is vibrant, progressive, and community-friendly.   The fact that we have outgrown our facility is proof of that.

A strong library will keep families that value education in our community, attract new families, enhance the quality of life for our senior citizens, and benefit local business.

Have you attended library board meetings in the past year? What was the board discussing that was of interest to you?

I am currently filling the position vacated by a former board member.

What is the most important issue facing the next library board and what should the solution be?

The next library board will continue forward with implementing the plans for the new library.  Board members must ensure the community has a library that’s the quality and caliber necessary to serve Brookfield well – both now and into the future.

If elected, what changes, if any, would you like to have accomplished by the end of your term?

I intend to help bring new energy and perspective to the hard work, dedication, and knowledge of the board.
