Gilda L. Cominsky (nee Nervegna), 92, of Oak Brook and formerly of Brookfield, Berwyn and Cicero, died March 16, 2014.
Ms. Cominsky was born in Chicago on Nov. 16, 1921. A homemaker, she enjoyed music, crossword puzzles and cross-stitching.
She was the wife of the late Frank J. Cominsky; the mother of Laura (Pete) Balandrin and Frank Jr. (Sharon) Cominsky; and the grandmother of Michael John (Ashley) Kozma, Jonathan Balandrin and Frank Cominsky III.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 22 from 9 a.m. until an 11:30 a.m. chapel service at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 Desplaines Ave. in North Riverside. Interment is at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Stickney.
