Roman M. Kamin, 79, a lifelong resident of Riverside, died April 19, 2014.

Mr. Kamin worked a sales manager for Ryerson Steel in Chicago prior to his retirement. A U.S. Army veteran, he enjoyed boating and spending time at his home in Fontana, Wis.

He was the husband of Mary Kamin (nee Dvorak); the father of Christopher (Colleen nee O'Niel), Patrick, Kevin, Kathryn and Bryan; the grandfather of Valeria Ross, Jamie and Gregory Girote, Amy, Matthew, Catherine and Emma Kamin; and dear brother of Theresa (James) Ryan and the late Diane (Harold) Martineck.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 24 from 3 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, April 25 from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St. in Riverside. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 25 at 11 a.m. at Mater Christi Church, 2431 10th Avenue in North Riverside. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
