Lillian M. Eucce, 98, entertainer

Lillian M. Eucce (nee Kouba), 98, formerly of North Riverside, died Feb. 18, 2014 in Deerfield Beach, Fla., where she had lived since 1985.

Born on June 13, 1915, Ms. Eucce was recognized throughout her life primarily as an entertainer and singer. As "Lillian Lee" she toured the country, Canada and Jamaica. Family members said Me. Eucce lived "with a song in her heart."

She also loved and was loyal to her family and enjoyed spending time with friends and following baseball.

Ms. Eucce is survived by her sisters-in-law, Miriam Eucce and Etta Karpinski; her  nieces, Judith (Bill) Kleinschmidt, Andrea (Bud) van der Laan, Janis (Don) Fletcher and Julie De Chene; her nephews, Dennis Eucce, Bruce (Marianne) Eucce, Steven (Kate) Eucce, Paul (Mary Pat) Radtke, James (Peggy) Eucce and Jerry (Sharon) Eucce; and many wonderful friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Eucce; her parents, Rose and Ed Kouba; her brother, Ed Kouba, Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Richard and James Eucce; and her nephew, Rick Eucce.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, April 26 at 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at noon at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield.

Memorial donations in Ms. Eucce's name are appreciated to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, Fla. 33486-3395.
