Lorraine Marie Rende (nee Shonder), 92, of Hinsdale and formerly of Cicero and Brookfield, died May 6, 2020.

She was the wife of the late Dominic Rende; the mother of Russell (Paulette) Rende and Dominic (Carol) Rende; foster mother of Laura Schieberle; the grandmother of Elizabeth (Chris) Pelling, Nathaniel (Tami) Rende and Kathryn (Jay) Campbell; the great grandmother of Addison, Joshua, Samantha, Evan and Owen; the sister of the late John (the late Norine) Shonder and the late Richard (the late Ruth) Shonder; the sister in law of Josephine Shonder; the daughter of the late John Shonder and Marie Shonder (nee Hepko); and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday, May 13 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St., Brookfield.

Due to current state and federal guidelines, only 10 guests will be allowed in the facility at a time. Facial coverings are required. Social distancing will be required and anyone exhibiting signs of sickness will not be allowed entry. 

Interment is at Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to your favorite Charity.
