William F. Hejna, M.D., 80, of Riverside, died May 4, 2013.
Dr. Hejna served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired orthopedic surgeon.
He was the husband of Eva Lee “Gerry” Hejna (nee Goodale); the father of William Hejna, David (Nancy) Hejna, Michael (Michelle) Hejna and Susan (Richard) Sheppard; the father-in-law of Nancy Hejna; the grandfather of Katherine, Margaret, William, Joseph, Alex, Madeline, Andrew, Emily, Amanda, Claire, Richard, Daniel and Robert; and the brother of Thomas Hejna.
Services were private. Interment was a Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
