Irene M. Cech, 95, owned meat market

Irene Marie Cech (nee Markvart), 95, of North Riverside, died April 29, 2013 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.

Ms. Cech was born April 13, 1918 and later married William F. Cech. The couple owned Bill's Meat Market at 63rd Street and St. Louis Avenue in Chicago. Mr. Cech preceded his wife in death.

She was the mother of Charlene Clark and Beverly (Ernest) Fortney; the grandmother of Lisa (Jon) Froemel, Alyson (Eric) Haas, Justin (Susan) Fortney and Corinne (Craig) Jamison; and the great-grandmother of Andrew, Nicolette, Hayden, Kyle and Landon.

Services have been held. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.

Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, North Riverside, handled arrangements.
