Charles E. Jenks Jr., 51, of Brookfield and formerly of Forest Park, died June 23, 2013 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Mr. Jenks was born Oct. 19, 1961 in Charleston, W.V. He worked as a plumber for Rose Plumbing in Melrose Park.
He was the husband of Laura Jenks (nee Engel); the father of Ashli (Joe) Bielarz, Charles "C.J." Jenks, Max Jenks and Tyler Jenks; the grandfather of Charlotte Bielarz; the brother of Randy (Elizabeth) Cobb, Timothy Cobb, Robert (Tracy) Jenks, Selena (Weldon) Jenks-Holliday and the late John (Tina) Jenks; the son-in-law of John and Delores Engel; and the uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation will be held June 27 from 3 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. chapel service, at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 Desplaines Ave., in North Riverside.
