Thomas A. Kirk, 94, owned auto repair shop

Thomas A. Kirk, 94, of Brookfield, died June 22, 2013.

Mr. Kirk was born Feb. 28, 1919 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he owned Village Auto Body in Oak Park.

He was the husband of Susan Kirk (nee Stoltenberg); the father of Gail Kirk and the late John Kirk; the stepfather of Allan (Linda) Aurrichio and Anthony (Vita) Aurrichio; the grandfather of A.J. Aurrichio, Timothy Aurrichio, Anthony Aurrichio and Amy Aurrichio.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 3 p.m. until the time of an 8 p.m. service at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield. Interment will be on Friday, June 28 at a time to be announced at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
