Donald M. Strysick, 86, of Burr Ridge and formerly of North Riverside, died May 27, 2014.

Mr. Strysick was the former owner of the Village Bake Shoppe in Riverside and a member of the Salt Creek Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America.

He was the husband of the late Katherine and the late Audrey; the father of Louise Krzys, Ken (Cynda) and Kathy (late Dave) Cecil; the grandfather of Kery (Nick) Obradovich, Alison Kay (Paul) Fichter and Kelly (Tom) Beitzel; the great grandfather of Abby, Aiden, Mya and Avalyn; and the brother of the late Howard and late Lee.

Services have been held. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.

Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, Riverside, handled arrangements.
