Remarks at mayor's press conference inappropriate

I learned a lot from Mayor Lightfoot's press conference on Friday. When she had finished speaking, she invited a Chicago pastor to speak. He proceeded not to invoke words of healing and advice, but the rhetoric of a militant activist.

It was an inappropriate forum while standing at a podium bearing the seal of the city of Chicago. Are we in the control of a de facto leftist regime? Issues of hate and injustice from hundreds of years ago, and which nobody alive had any control over, are counterproductive to those of us who want to create change based on what we can do today.
