Adam L. Pytel, 97, of LaGrange Park, died June 23, 2014 at Plymouth Place in LaGrange Park.
Mr. Pytel served in the U.S Army during World War II and worked for more than 35 years as a supervisor for the Western Electric Company in Cicero, retiring in 1982.
He was the husband of the late Genevieve "Jean" Pytel (nee Wojick); the father of Cynthia (Robert) Pavel of Brookfield; the grandfather of Leanne Pavel and Christopher (Tracey) Pavel; the great-grandfather of Anyka Pavel; and the brother of Julie Mazur.
Services have been held. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
Johnson Funeral Home, Brookfield, handled arrangements.
