Brookfield police charged a 31-year-old Glen Ellyn man with DUI and cited him for traffic offenses after he allegedly crashed into a pair of parked vehicles while driving in the 3600 block of Grand Boulevard on the afternoon of July 12.

The impact of the collisions caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle, flipping it onto its side in the street a few door south of the Brookfield Public Library.

The crash happened just prior to 4 p.m. No one was injured. After being processed for DUI, the driver was released on bond, according to police.
