I wanted to thank you for wanting North Riverside great. I just wanted to say that the mayor and village administrator work very hard, I think, behind the scenes to find the right match for businesses in North Riverside.
I do know, as you state from the Oak Brook consultant, that our codes need to be updated and I feel this will be done very soon.
However, I do disagree with the idea that a case-by-case evaluation is wrong. I believe that a handshake still means more than just business, and I think that the extra work the mayor and village trustees and village administrator do for residents save us a lot of money in the long run, and they serve as the point people.
