Joanne R. Baggett (nee Hartman), 63, a lifelong resident of Brookfield, died July 27, 2013.

Ms. Baggett attended Lincoln School in Brookfield and Lyons Township High School, graduating in 1967. For more than 12 years she was employed as a receptionist at Creative Dental in Brookfield.

She also enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, baking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ms. Baggett was the wife of Lonzo Baggett; the mother of Amy (Chris) Knoop; the stepmother of Ben Baggett, Lonzo (Faith) Baggett, Paul Baggett and Shawn Baggett; the grandmother of Riley Knoop, Jaiden Knoop. Victoria Geraci, John Baggett, Ariana Baggett and Ashleigh Baggett; the great-grandmother of Abigail Geraci, Anthony Baggett and Lucy Baggett; the daughter of Ruth Hartman and the late George Hartman; the sister of Maryann Tyson and Carol Polcyn; and the aunt of Tara Polcyn, Michael Polcyn and Alex Polcyn.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31 at Johnson Funeral Home, 3845-47 Prairie Ave., Brookfield, followed by interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Stickney.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the Les Turner ALS Foundation, 5550 W. Touhy Ave., Suite 302, Skokie, Ill. 60007.
