Rose M. Hopkins (nee Brongel), of LaGrange Park and formerly of the McKinley Park neighborhood of Chicago, died July 6, 2019.
Ms. Hopkins was born Oct. 22, 1920 and worked a line worker in a factory prior to retiring.
She was the wife of the late Thomas Hopkins; the mother of Leonard (Debra) Hopkins and Steven (Virginia) Hopkins; the grandmother of Lauren, Allison, Gerald, Mary and the late Jason; the sister of the late George Brongel; and the godmother of Larry Brongel, Michael Vainer, Tony Shilka and Maxine Anderson.
Visitation is on Wednesday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield, followed by entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
