Gregory Keegan Chap, 51, of North Riverside, has died.

Mr. Chap was born in North Tonawanda, New York, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for a trucking company as a forklift operator.

He was the father of Joshua Chap; the son of the late Ignatius and the late Rosemary (nee Keegan) Chap; the brother of James Chap, Jeffrey Chap, Jeanne (Paul) Anderson, Steven Chap, Susan (Michael) Faloona and the late William Chap; the nephew of Jeanne Keegan and Isobel Burke; and an uncle and cousin to many.

Services have been held. Inurnment was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, North Riverside, handled arrangements.
