Anthony "Ed" Ziganto, 90, of Lisle and formerly of Brookfield and Western Springs, died on Sept. 11, 2017. 

Born on Sept. 27, 1926, he was a longtime member of the Chicago Accordion Club and the Brookfield-LaGrange Park Lions Club. Mr. Ziganto served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Mr. Ziganto was the husband of the late Evelyn M. Ziganto (nee Weiss); the father of Richard (Judy) Ziganto, James (Karen) Ziganto, John (fiancée Lorraine Ambriz) Ziganto and Ray (Lina Ariffin) Ziganto; the grandfather of David (Erika) Ziganto, Dana (Miles) Beatty IV, Christopher (Sharina) Ziganto, Danielle Ziganto, Jene' Ziganto and Steven Ziganto; the great-grandfather of Miles V, Macallan, Leo and Benjamin; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 14 at St. Louise de Marillac Church in LaGrange Park, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
