Rocco was already an elected official at the time of last year fire department Santa trip. It says the trip is sponsored by the fire department in cooperation with the village board. Anyone on the village board had the right to be there to help out. What was distastfull was other VIP members like the campaign manager out on the corners handing out campagin materials like they had anything to do with the event. They did not!!!

as I recall, rocco followed the fire trucks last year to get elected trustee. I guess it just depends on whose ox is being gored.

I have enjoyed Santa Claus coming down the the street on the fire trucks for many years now. The glow in the kids eyes, as Santa greets them. The neighbors coming out and enjoying being part of a great neighborhood. Shame on you VIP party! This is about the season, the kids, Christmas and giving. How dare you come out with your little vote getting snowmen. Oh ye of little class. Thank you for showing your true colors. It was a great present for all of us.
