Early voting for the April 9 election has begun and will continue through April 6 at more than 40 sites in suburban Cook County.

The early voting sites are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Seven of the sites are also open on Sunday, March 31.

Early voters must display a valid government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID or U.S. Passport. You do not need an excuse to vote early.
