Early voting for the April 9 election has begun and will continue through April 6 at more than 40 sites in suburban Cook County.
The early voting sites are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Seven of the sites are also open on Sunday, March 31.
Suburban voters can cast their ballots early at any of the suburban sites as well as at the Cook County Clerk’s Office at 69 W. Washington St. in Chicago. Early voters must display a valid government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID or U.S. Passport. You do not need an excuse to vote early.
Among the early voting sites nearby are the following (Sunday hours are indicated where applicable):
- Berwyn City Hall, 6700 W. 26th St.
- Cicero Community Center, 2250 S. 49th Ave. (Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
- Cicero PSO Building, 5410 W. 34th St. (Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
- Stickney-Forest View Public Library, 6800 W. 43rd St., Stickney
- Hodgkins Village Hall, 8990 Lyons St.
