During September you will see Kiwanis Club members in La Grange, Countryside, La Grange Park and Hodgkins providing peanuts for donations. Since its inception in 1926, the Kiwanis Club of La Grange has redistributed over $700,000 collected through this annual event, to non-profits that serve children and youth throughout the Western Suburbs. Builders Club members from S.E. Gross Middle School in Brookfield and the K-Kids Club, from Brook Park Elementary in LaGrange Park, both which build leaders through community service, will also be shaking cans and handing out peanuts. Be sure to take part in this community-wide event!
