Peggy Roche Boyle, 73, a Brookfield resident for more than 40 years, died suddenly on April 14, 2018.
Ms. Boyle was the owner of Roche Tours, where she worked as a travel agent and tour guide. She was a lover of Irish music, dance and travel.
She was the wife of James Boyle; the mother of Meghan (Marcus) Larson, Kathleen (Jim) Farnan, Siobhan (Tom) Luedtke, Seamus (Beth) and Patrick “Packy” (Amy) Boyle; the grandmother of Fiona, Grace, Ethan and Niamh Larson, Quinn Winters, James and Nellie Farnan, Caoimhe and Rowan Luedtke, Maeve, Rosemary and Shea Boyle and Jack, Hannah and Ella Boyle; the sister of Kathleen (the late Tom) McDonnell, Mary Pat (Tony) Kulak, Patrick (Jan) Roche, Collette (Tom) McGrath, Kevin (Joanne) Roche, Michael (Suzanne) Roche and the late John (Liane) Roche; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is on Thursday, April 19 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (a half-mile north of Saint Charles Road) in Elmhurst.
A funeral Mass will be April 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, 30th and Raymond, LaGrange Park, followed by a committal service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
