George A. Pawlowski, 80, died Nov. 17, 2006 in his Brookfield home.

A retired draftsman, Mr. Pawlowski was born Feb. 22, 1926 in Oak Park. The loving husband of the late Alice M. Pawlowski and son of the late Andrew and Helen Pawlowski, he is survived by his son, Dennis Fantl, daughters-in-law Maureen Fantl and Dorothy Fantl, grandchild, Tracy Wood, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd.

Anna J. Basta, 85, Loving Homemaker
Anna J. Basta, 85, a resident of Brookfield, died Nov. 19, 2006 at La Grange Memorial Hospital.

A loving homemaker, Mrs. Basta was born Apr. 26, 1921 in Czechoslovakia. She is survived by her late husband, George Basta, late parents, Frank (Antonia) Jenny, daughter Susan (Kenneth) Kozelka, daughter Barbara (Carter) Lamb, late son James (Karen), and her seven grandchildren, Chris Kozelka-Campbell, Kim Pelletier, Carrie Kozelka, Nick Basta, Elise Lamb, A.J. Lamb and Austin Basta.

A funeral service was held Nov. 22, 2006 at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, and her body was entombed at Woodlawn Mausoleum, 7600 W. Cermak Rd.

Memorial contributions were appreciated to the American Sokol Organization, 122 W. 22nd Street, Oak Brook, IL 60523, and the American Diabetes Association, 30 North Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602.

Genevieve Marie Urosev, 66, Secretary
Genevieve Marie Urosev, 66, a resident of Brookfield, died Nov. 15, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

A secretary for the Cook County Health Department, Mrs. Urosev was born Sept. 13, 1940 in Chicago. She is survived by her husband, Mike Urosev of Brookfield, her late parents James (Mary) Gatlin, her sons Michael (Rebecca) and Mark (Linda), and her grandchild Magnus.

Funeral services and interment were privately held.
