Grace M. Kendzierski, 83, Former North Riverside resident
Grace Margaret Kendzierski (nee Czewinski), a resident of Berwyn and a former resident of Cicero and North Riverside, died May 26, 2007 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
A homemaker who raised four children, she was married to Raymond Edward Kendzierski, who preceded his wife in death.
She is survived by her children, Patti Steadman, JoAnn (Rick) Herman, Holly (Ed) Vejvoda and Louis “Sonny” (Victoria) Kendzierski; her sister, Dorothy (the late Bruno) Tomaszewski; her brother, Ray (Andeline) Kendzierski; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elsie, Adeline, Violet, Gladys, Lorraine, Laverne and Diane.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Joseph Nosek & Sons Funeral Home, 6716 W. 16th St., Berwyn. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Church, 4008 Prairie Ave., Brookfield, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
Elaine R. Krause, 79, Former Brookfield resident
Elaine R. Krause (nee Hass), a resident of Bloomingdale and a former resident of Cicero and Brookfield, died May 22, 2007 at GlenOaks Hospital and Medical Center in Glendale Heights.
Born Feb. 25, 1928 to Adam and Lillian (nee Rempert) Hass in Cicero, she married Ronald P. Krause, who survives his wife. She is also survived by her daughter, Linda S. Krause.
A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Benjamin Ball, was held May 25 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace.
Memorial contributions were appreciated to Bethesda Lutheran Home and Services, 700 Hoffman Drive, Watertown, Wis. 53094.
