Joseph R. Collins, 38, Owned stucco firm
Former Brookfield resident Joseph Rocca Collins, 38, died June 20, 2008 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Darien at the time of his death.
Mr. Collins was born Aug. 26, 1969 in Chicago to William A. and Cindylou (nee Merrick) LaPorte. He was a self-employed contractor who owned AAA Stucco.
He is survived by his parents; his step-mother, Diane R. Collins; his son, Rock Collins; his siblings, W. Scott Collins, Theodore P. (Heather) Collins, Marsha L. (Al) Stegall and Sheila M. (Scott) Mitchell; and his companion, Marie E. Angelini.
Funeral services and interment were private.

Elisabeth W. Jovanovic, 86, Retired from Ampehnol-Borg
Longtime Brookfield resident Elisabeth W. Jovanovic, 86, died June 25, 2008 at Burgess Square Nursing Home in Westmont.
Ms. Jovanovic had lived in Brookfield since 1955 and worked for 25 years as an inspector for the Amphenol-Borg Company in Broadview, retiring in 1984.
She was active at St. Barbara Parish in Brookfield as a sacristan and as a member of its Seniors Club and Council of Catholic Women. She was also a member of Local 1050, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Budimir M. Jovanovic, on Dec. 23, 1983. She is survived by her daughter, Mirjana (Cary) Klip; her grandchildren, Lisa (Jason) Loster and Michael Klip; and her great grandchildren, Damian and Tommy.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 30 at St. Barbara Church, followed by interment at Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery in Third Lake.
Memorial contributions were appreciated to St. Thomas Hospice, 8230 S. Madison, Burr Ridge, Ill. 60527.

Mark S. Leverenz, age 45, of Brookfield, beloved son of Jeannette; loving grandson of Joseph and the late Beatrice Rada; dear brother of Bryan (Ann) Rada; fond nephew of Robert (Barbara) Rada. Donations appreciated to Helping Hand Rehab Center, 9649 W. 55th St., Countryside, Ill. 60525. A chapel service was held May 27, 2008 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Forest Park. Interment was private.
Jack Rehill, 52, Brookfield resident
Jack Rehill, 52, of Brookfield, died June 29, 2008.
Born June 13, 1956 to Edwin and Helen Rehill, he is survived by his step-mother, Irma Rehill; his wife, Vicky Rehill; his siblings, Amaury (Danielle) Rehill, Ed (Caroline) Rehill and Rick (Michelle) Rehill; and many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 2 at 9 a.m. at Unity Temple, 875 Lake St. in Oak Park.
