Fenwick finishes tourney 2-2
With a 2-1 loss to cross-town rival Oak Park, the Fenwick soccer team finished the Pepsi Showdown tournament with a 2-2 record.
“We didn’t play Friar soccer until it was too late,” said Fenwick head coach Chris Richter regarding his team’s performance against Oak Park. “Our midfield and defense were far too withdrawn, which created the problems that cost us the game. It’s a positioning issue, which is a simple enough fix. We’ll get back to playing our game [this week.]”
