Kudos and a huge thank you to Dan Lipinski for voting sensibly and responsibly in regards to our health care bill. Indeed, health care needs reforming , but it doesn’t need the over 2,000-page government takeover that is now law.
Laurel Lambert Schmidt (“Green Party challenger knocks Lipinski’s health care vote,” News, March 31) can say what she wants regarding Mr. Lipinski’s vote, but I feel her convictions subvert the American way of life.
I fervently hope voters of the 3rd Congressional District will disagree with her on Election Day and cast their vote for our current and courageous common-sense representative.
May Mr. Lipinski stay as pragmatic and principled as his father was. He most certainly has my vote.
