Marilyn L. Moore, 84, Longtime Riverside resident

Marilyn L. Moore (nee Ward), 84, died May 3, 2010, at her home in Willowbrook.

A longtime former resident of Riverside, Ms. Moore was involved in local charities, societies and alumnae organizations. She attended The Ferry Hall School in Lake Forest and was a 1947 graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She worked as a retail buyer and advertising consultant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice “Moe” Moore, and her parents, Drs. Benjamin and Mildred (nee Doubek) Ward. She is survived by her children, Christine (Anthony) Tronca, Donna (David) Ogorzaly and Carey (Gary) Berger; her grandchildren, Mary Katherine Berger, Andrew Ogorzaly and Alexander Ogorzaly; and her brother, Ben T. (Lillian) Ward.

A private memorial service was held May 7 at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
