Teresa L. Grimm, 59, a resident of Channahon and former resident of LaGrange, died Jan. 9, 2011 in Channahon.
Ms. Grimm attended St. John Lutheran School in LaGrange and graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1969. She married Robert P. Grimm Sr. at St. John Lutheran on June 12, 1971, and worked as a secretary for 11 years at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brookfield, where she also sang in the choir. She left her job with the church in 2007.
She is survived by her husband; her daughters, Tina (Ernest) Brasse and Tanya (Filiberto) Gutierrez; her son, Robert P. (Andrea) Grimm Jr.; her sister, Karen Hale; her brother, Joseph Rivaldo Jr.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9035 Grant Ave., Brookfield. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m., with interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
