Mary Jane Stepanek, 63, of LaGrange Park and formerly of Brookfield, died Jan. 15, 2011, at her home.
Born on Sept. 14, 1947, in Oak Park to Walter and Angela Stepanek, she worked as a nurse.
Ms. Stepanek was preceded in death by her father and by her stepfather, Jerry Stepanek. She is survived by her mother and by her brother, Anthony Stepanek, of LaGrange Park.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 18 at St. Louise de Marillac Church in LaGrange Park, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
