Elizabeth J. “Betty” Gorey (nee McLaughlin), 84, of North Riverside, died Jan. 21, 2011.
Ms. Gorey was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Gorey. She is survived by her children, John (Linda) Gorey, Michael (Martina) Gorey, William (Lynn) Gorey and Linda Gorey; her grandchildren, Jim, Jennifer, Sean, Matthew, Kim and Ryan; and many good friends. Her kind words and gentle smile will be missed by all.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Jan. 25 at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
