Mary Sidlauskas (nee Zoper), 96, a resident of Brookfield and formerly of Cicero, died March 1, 2011, at LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
Born in Clinton, Ind., on Oct. 5, 1914, to Peter and Anna Zoper, she later married Frank Sidlauskas, who preceded his wife in death. Prior to retirement she worked as a punch press operator for a manufacturing company.
She was also a member of the Women of the Brookfield Moose and a 20-plus year volunteer at the Southwest Suburban Center on Aging in LaGrange.
Ms. Sidlauskas is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Trout and Anne Fantozzi; her granddaughter, Deborah (John) Randazzo; her great granddaughter, Nicole Randazzo; and her sister, Della Marcinkus.
A funeral service was held March 5 at Hitzeman Funeral Home in Brookfield, followed by interment at Lithuanian National Cemetery in Justice.
