Special Education teacher Colleen Westerkamp and science teacher David Monti were two of 15 Riverside-Brookfield High School faculty who had their heads shaved on March 24 to raise money for research to fight childhood cancer. Overall, 138 RB students, faculty and staff participated in the event, raising $23,600 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. In all, 102 students had their heads shaved and 21 female students donated 210 inches of hair to the Locks of Love and Pantene Beautiful Lengths, two groups that provide wigs for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
