Starting in May, we’ll be changing the ways we distribute the Brookfield Landmark.

Here’s why: We know we have many dedicated readers who turn to the Landmark – both in print and online – for the best and most complete reporting in town. We want to make it very easy for our readers to get the paper and our online breaking news reports.

So, starting May 18, the Landmark will begin offering home-delivered subscriptions at a remarkably low price of just $9.95 for 18 months. Do the math. That’s just 13 cents a week. The paper will be delivered on Wednesday with your mail. There isn’t a better value than that.

At the same time, we’ll also start delivering more copies of the paper to locations across the village, the library, schools, stores – about 30 locations all together – where you’ll be able to pick up the paper for free.

These changes are possible because of the rapid growth of our online readership at RBLandmark.com. Our page views are flying. Our comment boards are humming with local discussions. And Bob Uphues, our longtime editor, is sending out more breaking news updates than ever before.

Thanks to our youth carriers who have been delivering your Landmark over many years. We appreciate their service, and it’s been great to be able to offer first jobs to so many local kids. Their final day on the job will be May 11.

Thank you, for being a Landmark reader. You can subscribe online right now by click here or send an email to Circulation@wjinc.com with your name, address, phone number and email address. We’ll bill you for $9.95.
