Diane R. Hurley (nee Stapleton), 75, of Brookfield, died Sept. 1, 2011 at her home.
Ms. Hurley was born in Chicago on March 11, 1936 to Joseph and Agnes Stapleton. She worked as a bookkeeper for an insurance company.
She is survived by her son, John Hurley; her brother, Kenneth (Karen) Stapleton; her nephews, William Winger Jr. of Arlington Heights, Steve (Jane) Winger of Frankfort, Donald Stapleton of Batavia and David (Margie) Stapleton of Lombard; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Rita (William Sr.) Winger.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sept. 7 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Barbara Church, 4008 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
