Zvonimir Govic, 65, of Brookfield, died Sept. 30, 2011 at LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Govic was born in Croatia on Sept. 20, 1946 to Jakov and Zorka Govic. He worked as a machinist in the tool and die industry.
He is survived by his wife, Vesna Govic (nee Vukelja), of Brookfield; his children, Allen Govic, Marina (Deni) Ordulj and Anthony Govic; his grandchildren, Kristian Ordulj, Nikolina Ordulj and Dominik Ordulj; his siblings, Zdenka (Frna) Rupcic and Ivan Govic; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Govic will lie in state on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6 to the time of Mass at 7 p.m. at St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church, 2823 S. Princeton, Chicago. Interment is private.
Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, handled arrangements.
