Shirley M. Miller, 81, Lived in Brookfield 75 years

Shirley M. Miller, 81, a resident of Brookfield since 1936, died Oct. 22, 2011 at The Grove of LaGrange Park.

Ms. Miller graduated from S.E. Gross School in Brookfield in 1944 and from Riverside-Brookfield High School in 1947. She married Gerald E. Miller on Feb. 12, 1949 at St. James Church in Maywood. Ms. Miller was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Edward Feely Post 190 and of the Brookfield Women’s Club.

She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Kathy (Steven) Behrens; her grandchildren, Michelle (Neal) Sexton and Michael (Aby) Justinich; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha Sexton, Alannah Justinich and Dylan Justinich.

A memorial service was held Oct. 26 at Johnson Funeral Home, Brookfield.
