Mary Ann Komperda, 78, of Riverside, died on Nov. 18, 2011. She was very athletic, but especially enjoyed ice-skating, tennis and basketball. She was a member of the St. Mary Altar & Rosary Society and an avid gardener.
Mrs. Komperda was the wife of Edward; the mother of Mark (Mary), Krintine (Tim) Lewe), Suzanne (Kevin) McLaren and the late John; the grandmother of Jack and Jane McLaren and Nathan Komperda; and the sister of Catherine, Robert and Dorothy Zenisek, Barbara Zavorka and the late Richard Zenisek.
Visitation was held on Nov. 21 at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home in Riverside. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Nov. 22 at St. Mary Church, followed by interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
