The Riverside-Brookfield boys basketball team capped off a strenuous four games in five days by rocking host Elmwood Park 72-44 last week.

Damonta Henry (14 points, 7 assists), Miki Ljuboja (12 points, 9 rebounds) and Louis Marino (11 points) sparked the Bulldogs’ customary balanced attack. Supersub Liam Lesniak chipped in nine points, while senior swingman Luke Nortier hauled down 12 boards and played great defense.

The Bulldogs (17-4, 7-0 Metro Suburban Conference) didn’t lose a game in January.

“I think we are all probably a little tired,” Lesniak said, “but it feels great to win 10 games in a row. We just have to keep it going, win our conference and continue playing good basketball heading into the playoffs.”
