Dorothy L. Halupka (nee Meyer), 73, of Brookfield, died April 2, 2012 at Westlake Community Hospital in Melrose Park.
She was born in Lyons on Sept. 27, 1938 to Albert F. and Eleanore Meyer and later married Norman L. Halupka, who preceded his wife in death. She worked as a credit manager for a manufacturing company.
Ms. Halupka is survived by her son, William L. Halupka, of Brookfield; her brothers, Ronald (the late Frances) Meyer and James P. (Candice) Meyer; and her sister, Karen M. (the late Thomas Sr.) Long.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 4 from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Church, 4008 Prairie Ave., Brookfield. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
