Laura Gacek (nee Mikesh), 85, of North Riverside, died April 15, 2012 in Westchester.
Born in Austria on July 18, 1926, she was the mother of Bonnie (John) Kudia, Edward (Candace) Gacek Jr., Kenneth Gacek, David (Ardis) Gacek and the late Mary Geldes; the grandmother of 10; the great-grandmother of seven; the sister of Inge Mueller; and the former wife of Edward Gacek Sr.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Mater Christi Church, 2431 10th Ave. in North Riverside.
