Peter J. King Jr., 81, of Riverside and formerly of Orland Park, died May 29, 2012.
Mr. King was born March 29, 1931, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was later the owner of Royale Dental Lab in Chicago and was a member of Elks Lodge #1596.
He was the husband of Patricia (nee McLaughlin) and the late Patricia S. (nee Corbett); the father of Peter J. (Charlene) King III, Jacqueline (John) Magruder, Patricia (Mitchell) Holloway, Nancy (Donn) DeMuro and Raymond Mikus; the grandfather of Briann King, Brittany King, Peter King IV, Samantha Magruder, Bailey Magruder, Nicole (Mark) Christopher, Jennifer Holloway, Brian (Katheryn) Holloway, Katie DeMuro, Sean DeMuro, Grace Mikus, Patrick Mikus and Trey Mikus; and the great-grandfather of Emily Janotta, Michael Janotta, James Janotta, Matthew Janotta, Anthony Janotta, Ava Christopher and Haylie Godbey.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 2 at St. Mary Church in Riverside, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
