Did you know that skin cancer is the most common form of cancer? More than 2 million people will suffer from skin cancer this year in the U.S.
You are invited to a free skin cancer screening on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the North Riverside Community Center, located behind the police department at 2401 Desplaines Ave. Private skin cancer screenings will be conducted by dermatologists from Loyola Medical Center.
Appointments are required. Please call Carmen Carrizales of the American Cancer Society at 708-484 -8542. Call as soon as possible, because the number of screenings is limited. This event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the Riverside Township Lions Club.
