Mary V. Rink, 96, a longtime resident of Brookfield, died on July 19, 2012 at ManorCare of Westmont.
Ms. Rink moved to Brookfield in 1946 and was a waitress for 25 years at the Lilac Restaurant (formerly the Purple Plum) in Brookfield, retiring in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Rink, on Dec. 15, 1975. She is survived by her daughters, Betty (Steve) Bykowicz, Bonnie Bevcar and Judy (Bill) Law, and four grandchildren.
A funeral service was held July 23 at Johnson Funeral Home, Brookfield, which handled arrangements.
