Last year the insurance building at the corner of Grand and Washington in Brookfield was torn down. Since then the construction fence was removed and some landscaping was done.
This may be too late, but when will the sidewalk be repaired? The demo equipment left multiple cracks and heaved sections along both streets. I count more than a score.
Isn’t the owner or demolition contractor responsible for these repairs or will the village be stuck with the eventual bill?
