Gerald V. Decosola, 84, of North Riverside and formerly of Forest Park, died Nov. 28, 2012 at the Cantata Adult Life Services in Brookfield.
Mr. Decosola was born on Sept. 23, 1928 in Chicago. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a bricklayer prior to retirement.
He was the husband of the late Janice M. Decosola (nee Sheldon); the father of Michael (Priscilla) Decosola, Matt (Janice) Decosola, the late Rose Marie Decosola and the late Joseph Decosola; the grandfather of Sonny (Marissa), Gino, Rachel, Joey, Hannah, Matthew and Michael; the great-grandfather of Scarlett; the brother of the late Ron (Millie) Decosola; and the uncle of Vicki, Ron, Steve, and the late Linda.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 8 at noon at Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Woodside Road in Riverside.
