Margaret M. Boivin, 73, a lifelong resident of Brookfield, died Jan. 12, 2013 at her home.
Ms. Boivin attended St. Barbara School in Brookfield, graduating in 1953. She graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1957 and then worked as a secretary for many companies, retiring in 2005.
She was active at St. Barbara Parish as a member of the Resurrection Singers, as a Eucharistic minister and as a volunteer for the parish’s Office of Pastoral Care. Ms. Boivin also enjoyed ceramics, bowling and gardening.
Ms. Boivin is survived by her brother, Cliff Boivin; her nieces, Candace Jacques and Colette McCool; three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at St. Barbara Church, 4008 Prairie Ave., Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
