Riverside property owners can file assessed valuation appeals through Feb. 28

Property owners in Riverside Township may now file assessed valuation appeals with the Cook County Assessor’s Office thru Thursday February 28, 2013. The Riverside Township Assessor’s Office is available to help tax payers determine the best reason for filing an appeal, find comparables and complete the appropriate forms. To further assist property owners, office hours of the Township Assessor have been extended thru February 28th. The extended office hours will be Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm and by appointment.

Riverside Township property owners may also file appeals online directly with the Cook County Assessor’s Office at www.cookcountyassessor.com. Prior to making their online appeal they should contact the Fran Sitkiewicz, Riverside Township Assessor to obtain the best comparables.
