Dennis H. Davidson, 66, of Oswego and formerly of Brookfield and Melrose Park, died Feb. 8, 2013.
Mr. Davidson grew up in Brookfield, living in the village from 1955 to 1969 and graduating from St. Barbara School in 1960.
In 1969, he left the village when he entered the U.S. Army, where he remained until 1975. Afterward he worked for 28 years as a set designer for the Chicago Display Company in Melrose Park, retiring in 2011. He also enjoyed reading, fishing and playing golf.
Mr. Davidson was the husband of Margaret A. Davidson (nee Bock); the son of Kay Davidson and the late Howard G. Davidson; and the brother of Gary (Kathy) Davidson, Kevin (Lori) Davidson and Linda (Joseph) Radford.
Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. until the time of an 11 a.m. service at Johnson Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
